Who is Mumma Of Three?
Hi. I’m Kayleigh AKA Mumma Of Three. Fiancé to Max, and mummy to Caleb (three), Layla (two), and Reuben (three months). Max and I have been together for nearly 5 years and we live in the beautiful Sussex countryside. Most people thought we were crazy as we moved in together after only knowing each other for a month then I fell pregnant after only 5 months together (yep a big surprise for us too!) but here we are 5 years on, 3 kids later, and still going strong. In my blog, I’d like to show you what life is like as a young family of 5. From day to day life, parenting realities, and raw motherhood, I am here to show it all. Uncensored. Unfiltered.

I know what you are probably thinking…not another mummy blogger *rolls eyes* but I’m hoping this one will be different. I found that out of all the mummy blogs out there, I just couldn’t totally relate to them and found my experience of having and raising young children to be completely different. For me it wasn’t about Pinterest recipes and fun activities everyday. Sometimes, it was about doing what I could to get through the day. Sometimes, it was about having a freezer dinner for the third time that week. Sometimes, it was about long days and long nights, coupled with sleep deprivation making me feel like I was the worst mother in the world. We’ve all been there though, right? Through all of those days I searched for like minded blogs but I couldn’t find one to truly represented how I was feeling and what I was going through. Thats when I turned to Instagram.
I created my Instagram account in Summer 2020, during the first lockdown, as a way of connecting with other like-minded mums when our world felt so small. It really helped me to feel like I wasn’t alone, the community of mums out there is a strong one! I managed to document my journey throughout the last few months of my pregnancy with Reuben, and I received so much love and support, it was amazing! My main aim was to show it all as real as possible but I did find that quite hard to do with a character limit, so I started using my stories to show our days, the good ones, the tough ones, the chaotic ones and the down right ugly ones! But now I’ve found I want to talk about it all in a bit more detail and hopefully help others in the same boat.
Now I will just add, I’m in no way a professional writer, I’m just a mum who’s made a promise to herself to show our journey in the most honest way possible. I want to share things that I’d loved to have seen as a new mum, things that don’t get talked about enough & things that show the realities of motherhood in all its glory. So here we are!
I’m excited to start writing and capturing the moments that are important to us, to open the virtual doors to our family life, and share the craziness with you all.
Lots of love
Mumma Of Three x
